Northstar is now buying used radical, progressive, and community oriented books!
When we buy a book, we estimate how much we'd re-sell it for, and then offer 50% in credit or 25% in cash. So, for example, if we re-sell a book for $10, you'd get $5.00 credit or $2.50 cash.
Books should be in good condition, with minimal markings, rips, and stains. We might still take damaged books, but at a discounted rate.

Permaculture
DIY and Wildcrafting
Community Organizing
Radical Parenting (like My Mother Wears Combat Boots, etc)
Radical Environmentalism
Anarchism (but not heavy theory stuff so much.)
Rad graphic novels (like Persepolis, V for Vendetta, etc.)
Anti-Racism / Anti-Oppression / Anti-Fascism
Feminism
Animal Rights
Vegan / Raw Cookbooks
And any fiction/memoirs that touch on the above themes.
Books we will NOT buy:
Mainstream political books (Michael Moore, Rush Limbaugh, etc.)
Books that exclusively discuss socialism or communism.
Anything by Barack Obama.
Plain old regular cookbooks.
Mass market fiction.
